The FINALE Performance showcased ALL of our NAIDOC High Tea Performers who danced together in harmony and with joy to a classic hit “I Believe”  from the movie Honey.  “The FINALE Performance gave me goosebumps” .. “I have never seen this kind of performance with the different cultures together”… “OMG that FINALE was unforgettable”.. “I was so blessed today. Many a times I held back the tears. There was anointing, love, power and inspiration present throughout the day. I can’t describe how awesome that final dance was. It was soo special!! Absolutely brilliant”.  These are just some comments received from guests and performers.

The 2019 NAIDOC High Tea Event was described as unforgettable, magnificent, inspirational, brilliant, sensational and an event never experienced before with such diversity, enjoyment, harmony, anointing and class which brought performers and people of various backgrounds and cultures together for an enjoyable afternoon.

In 2018, with full support from Queensland Labor Senator, Claire Moore who stated “the High Tea must go ahead”, Dee’s Deportment, Grooming and Self Care  delivered yet another extraordinary NAIDOC High Tea Event at the Pullman International Hotel in Cairns to local, national and international guests.

Dignitary Guests included:  Senator Claire Moore who represented the Queensland State Senate and represented the Hon. Minister Shannon Fentiman, MP, Minister for Communities, Women and Youth, Child Safety and the Prevention of Domestic and Family Violence, Jane Pires, Ombudsman for Water and Energy and other dignitaries were also present.  Further support arrived from Senator, the Honorable Michaela Cash, Minister fro Employment, Minister for Women, Minister Assisting the Prime Minister for the Public Service.

Dee’s Deportment, Grooming and Self Care presented an extravagant 5 Star High Tea Event for first time ever, in the History of NAIDOC (National Aborigines and Islanders Day Observance Committee) through a partnership with the Cairns NAIDOC committee, on Thursday, 6th July 2017.
